INTERSCAPE Performance Analysis and Resource Utilization Report
This report provides a detailed Performance Analysis and Resource Utilization
report based on each Storage Array. The report will show a high level
data on max component utilizations and a detailed level chart for each
the components. This will indicate the efficiency of the storage sub-system
and highlight bottlenecks if any.
What It will show ?
- Total IOs per second (IOPS), read IOPS and write IOPS,
- Block size distribution in the array
- Bandwidth utilized in term of MB/s
- Overall %Cache Hit Ratios
- Bandwidth and Throughputs at each component Level. For example,
In case of EMC Arrays:
o Front-End Fibre Adapters (FAs)
o FICON Adapters
o Disk Adapters (DAs)
o SRDF Remote Adapters (RAs)
o Logical Devices
o Physical Disks
- Detailed Level Reports Showing
- Storage Array Configuration Report
- Storage Silo Performance Data showing Peaks and averages based
on data provided by the customer 1 week - 1 year for: Overall Silo,
FA CPU, FA port, DA, RA (SRDF)
- Bandwidth Peaks chart showing averages for the day, week and month.
- Throughput Peaks chart showing IOPS averages for the day, week
and month.
- Component Temperature Chart showing the max of each component
during 24 hour for daily, weekly and monthly
- Overall Component Utilization.
- Top 10 Busy Spindles.
- Device Level Write Pending.
- System Level Write Pending.
- Block Size summarizations for the array.
- %Sequential Vs %Random IO
- %Read Vs %Write
- %Cache Hits for the Array
